Companies Research
Companies Research

The company does not specify which jobs are currently their priority. But there is a list of all possible directions to which you can send your CV.
The company's projects are highly diverse. They take orders for both children and adults, taking into account educational content and commercials.
They are also open to applications from students who have just graduated from university.
It looks like they are working primarily with portfolios and showreels.

With this company, everything is a little more complicated. At the moment, they are not looking to hire a 2D animator. But their projects interested me immensely.
Like the previous company, they specialize in many areas and work for different audiences, from children to adults.

My Semester Targets
Education:
• Find two cartoony animation styles and existing characters.
Practice copying the cartoony style of other artists (1-2 animations 6-8 seconds long and for each animation one character sheet)
• Create a character sheet in my style.
• Create one 2D animation in my style. No longer than 8 seconds (if possible, with some feedback from last year mentor/Dan/Alan)
• Make a showreel with practice each and every one of the 12 principles of animation (it practices all of them and might be a good representation of my skills for the industry)
Industry:
• Visit 2 (or more) industry events
• Be more active on my social media (Twitter, VK) (1 post per week/2 week)
• Collaborate with artists that I know for 1-2 projects
Personal:
• Go on karate sessions for this semester
• Finde somewhere a guitar to practice my skills before writing the soundtrack for FMP
• Complete the meditation programs on my app Samsung Health - "21 Days of Calm", "7 Days of Self-Esteem", "7 Days of Happiness" and "7 Days of Managing Stress"
Thank you for your attention!
